By all accounts, it sounds like the Samsung Galaxy S8 is a solid phone. That is, it’s a solid phone if you’re lucky enough to avoid running into any of the issues that seem to be impacting a lot of users.
Complaints include everything from screen burn in (which Samsung claims to have implemented built-in protection against), screens with a red tint to them, and even a few accounts of phones rebooting at random.
It’s unclear currently precisely how widespread the issues are, but if you bought an S8, be sure to test it out thoroughly before your return window closes.
